Things are heating up, and I’m getting so close to done. I have a big reconciliation scene to finish, some reconciliation sex to write (yay makeup sex!) and an epilogue, and the first draft is done. Then I go back to edit, hopefully applying everything I learned at RWA. I can’t wait to get this out and into your hands! 😀

Scanning the room as quickly as I can for a solution, it comes to me in a flash. My chair is miraculously still standing, pushed right up against the railing. Perfect. Dodging around a furious guy wearing a red t-shirt that reads WELDERS DO IT HOTTER in huge white capitals, I charge at the chair, using it as the first step, the top of the railing as the second and then launch myself into the air above the crowd.
